Just kidding, kind of...
I finally emailed the site about my recent order(recent being a month ago). I ordered the SG book, and well-still not here. But, much to my surprise, it's now on it's way. Apparently, the site was having 'problems' with shop orders that day, and mine was lost somewhere. They found it though
My ex came over a couple of nights ago. And despite the fact that she's with a new boyfriend, she continues to try to start something with me again. I do love her, and care for her-but we tried to make it work before, and it just didn't work, nor do I think it would work if we tried again. So, she got pissed off at me again, and told me so.
Work has been busy, which I guess I don't mind, because it keeps me busy-and the days go by faster. Plus, I have things to do, which is nice. Still, I have all these god damn human resources issues. And I've manage to butt heads a few times this week. Honestly though, they were unavoidable situations-and these employees that I butted heads with-are for the most part, assholes.
I saw I,Robot last weekend, and actually quite liked it. I wasn't expecting I would much-just wanted to see it for it's special effects-which is a rare one for me-as I usually get pissed off at a movie built on or around special effects alone. But, it did inspire me to want to build a robot. Though, it will be non-functional, and purely decorative. I'm starting on it tomorrow.
I'm posting this pic again, since there was a posting on one of the boards for childhood pics. I tend to forget, I've been drawing and doing art for many o' years...
That picture reminds me, a girl from work said 'I bet you looked like that kid from "Jerry McGuire" when you were younger'-so I showed her that pic...
Also, where the hell is Lilith on my fav's list? Is it just me, or a problem with the site this morning, or is she gone?
Oh well, anywho-I'm out for a bit. I actually have to go to work early today, which means getting off early though to, by the same rationelle...
P.S-I also forgot. I was typing on this very keyboard the otehr morning, with the window shade open, and the light on-when two Jehoviah Witnesses drove up. They saw me sitting here, and approached the front door, smiling(thinking they had 'caught me'). They rang the doorbell, and knocked on the door, but since I knew who it was, I didn't answer. I thought they'd leave, but they didn't. I swear, they backed out of the driveway, and blocked the exit and street for 45 minutes-crazy bastards...
