Hello again,
After a rather long vacation from my journal.
I haven't been here at SG much this week-I know, shame shame.
But I did have fun this weekend, I decided to play hooky from my job on Friday, and went down to Chicago for the weekend. It was actually planned, but what me and my friends did really wasn't.
It was nothing to exciting, but fun nonetheless. We stopped at Medieval Times on the way down, and ate there-and enjoyed the cheesy show. I like the fact that we had no silverware either, kind of barbaric but fun.
Then we got to Chicago, and just walked around, hitting a few bars that first night.
It's fucking expensive to drink down there, holy shit. Still I managed to consume to much Guiness Friday and Saturday night-and we managed to get some shopping and site seeing along the way as well.
I think we hit about 15 bars or so, and marked the territory with SG stickers-not in plain site of course, but hidden-just a little token of my generousity. I hit a few places on the way down to, seems to be a recent hobby of mine as of late.
And thanks for the nice comments on my tat. It's healing rather well, fast I might say.
I did notice when I was at Borders down in Chicago, a new SG book is coming out, so I preordered it.
Anyway, as usual, my thoughts are scrambled and vague-hope everyone had a good weekend.
p.s-I'm going to miss a friend who is quitting the site tomorrow, it makes me sad

I've been in WI for about 3 yeras now and have never ventured out to Chicago. Sounds like I should wait till the end of the summer and actually have some spare cash.
