Yeah, I haven't updated this journal page in a while, shame shame.
It's the fifth day of my vacation, and the last one I might add. It all went way to fast.
I purposely took today off, for two reasons really.
1)Mondays suck
2)I was at the Madison Filmfest for 4 days in a row, and if memory serves me correctly, my as was so soar last year fater sitting for all those movies-as it is again this year.
But the filmfest was fun. I really enjoyed myself. all the movies were good in their own way, and I'm convinced all but one of them, will probably never make it to a theater again. Except for the filmfest ciruit-and some of those arthouse movie places. And actually, Hilldale has the habit of playing filmfest films after their debut elsewhere.

and Hellboy before the festival started on Friday, first showing.
I enjoyed them all-for various reasons really. There were a few american films in there, but most were foreign, and very 'unHolywood' which is awesome.
There was a rather long break in between our first film on Saturday, and our second-so we went to the State Bar and Grill on State Street for lunch(originally), and ended up getting pretty lit and stupid there.
I wanted some boots at The Kat's Meow, which I had seen the day previous,so I went to purchase those-and oddly enough, the clerk looked really familiar. Though I was to embarassed to ask her if she was a member here, well then anyway. And sure enough, it was fallenicarus! Though, I had never met her before. But she was nice in our efforts to purchase goods in our 'blissful' stupor.
I do remember being a bit obnoxious though-and felt like an ass.
Anywho, it was all fun, and I spent way to much money-but well worth it. And really, I'm babbling, so I'm out......
