My Wednesday: by HORUS73
This will be two parts, as one part is good, and lolly lolly-the other, a complete load of fucking shit.
Part 1) I woke up, fairly early to waken my roommate, who had an early appointment at the recruitors(that's right-army), and proceded to bath and dress and start my day of jack shit. I turned on my phone(which I hate talking on anyway), and it beeped, to indicate I had a message. When I checked my messages, sure enough-there was a new one. When I listened to it, it sounded like a scam. Apparently, I had one a contest of sorts. Though, being skeptical of anything to good, I failed to call back until 12 or so. And wouldn't you know it, I did in fact win a prize. And it was no scam either, it was an entry I had placed in a box at a gas station some two weeks previous. So I am now the proud owner of $400 worth of cash cards for the gas station/convenient store. They sell liquor to, which is a bonus-smokes as well.
Part 2) I also recieved a phone call froma co-worker, who works an opposite shift of mine. He informed me thaqt the whole computer system was fucked, and that work was going to run late. I don't maintain that peice of shit computer system anymore, but being one of the bosses, I thought it best to go in early and figure out what was going on. Sure enough, the fucking thing was down, again-and infected the whole god damn place. Though I was able to fix the minor problem, I was ultimately blamed for the initial problem. Why you may ask? Because when we 'log-on' at work, we all have our own log-ins, much like our PCs at home. Generally, I have to log in to 4 or 5 computers, so people can have access to what I can access in the system, to do various tasks. And in doing so, gave someone the fucking right to fuck a few things over-and do it with my name.
I explained it to management, and they believed me, but still, my name was tarnished to say the least. And the only people who knew this work was done under my name, was a few management personel, who somehow leaked it to the rest of the fucking departments-so by the time I got in, I was 'harassed' to a certain extent by co-workers. Fucking bitches.
Oh fucking well though, I guess if people are going to judge or accept every fucking rumor that goes into their peon skulls-they can go on thinking what their asshead selfs want to believe-and further more, go home and fuck themselves. I generally don't accept rumor as fact, and often times, just dismiss it all together. Fucking shit..
Oh well, things kind of got balanced yesterday. I'm kind an 'Even Steven' type of guy. Meaning, one good or bad thing, is balanced off by another. Yeah, I ripped that off from 'Seinfeld'...
