i got the new social d cd the other day . .
i like it
but since that was my favorite band when i was 15
(20 years ago!) i guess that's old news

got my DWARVES tix for tomorrow too. .

which means, another night of foul-mouthed rock-n-roll,
booze , and cheap motel shenanigans . .

$45 . .is that cheap? it's actually not that bad for a room here in california. . good thing i had a coupon!
i'll put it on my card and make my friend buy me a DWARVES t-shirt at the show!

btw. .she wanted to go to san francisco and see a play this weekend . .and i'm all
"hell no! . . the DWARVES are playin' "

and she's all " you'd rather see that lousy band than got to the city with me?"

so's i say " does that mean you don't wanna go to the show with me, and i can ask someone else?"

so i says. . "ok then , my treat!"

but , i am kinda worried about one thing . .

i used to go out with another girl, that i love very much.
not 'in love with', but love for being there for me at a time
when i needed someone . .ya' know?

and we use to listen to the DWARVES constantly , and i'm thinking she might be at the show.

and my current thang is kinda. . umm. . emotional?
to put it mildly . .

when you drink as often as i do, it's a good thing to have a happy drunk every once in a while. .

oh well , whenever i get into a mmm. . situation .
i always think to myself. . you're a dad. .act like one. .

strange thing to say , considering my previous statement i'm sure, but . . i rarely drink around him. .in fact , i asked him about it one day recently.
and he said " no, and even when you do, you never finish your beer. "

i guess that means , i'm leaving around half finished beers for him to suck down when i'm not looking or something. .

i'm full of excuses for my drinking!
