today was the first day for my son at his new jr. high school . . he said it was cool. . i have high hopes for him. .
he's my best friend . he's got some crazy insight . . we went to see the stiff little fingers the other night . . and as we were surrounded by all kinds of hip looking people .. he says to me. . "it's funny how the people look at me here like i'm some kinda dork because of my hair, but all i have to do is mess it up a little , i completely fit in and i'm cool"
he's smart, and understanding human behavior so much better than i did at his age. . or even now. .
a couple of weeks ago he says to me . . " it's weird that millions of people talk to god everyday, but if somebody actually says , god talked to them. . they're considered crazy"

I wish my dad took me to concerts. I wish my dad talked to me about something other than fucking work and school. He took me to baseball games though. I hate sports. I only went for the $5 hot dogs.
