i thought that i would be a lot different than the last time i was here, but i looked at my profile. . and i ain't changed a bit! anyways. . i had a great moment the other day, i introduced my son (he's 13) to jimi hendrix' "axis: bold as love" for the first time and i swear i started to cry. .(just a little bit) we were in the car , on the way to see I, robot. .(which , we both enjoyed) and i told him "this is my favorite hendrix record" and it sounded so fuckin' perfect. . and he had never heard it b4. . and it was classic. . he was tripping out on how killer it was. . and i was thinking , this is one of the best moments i'll ever have in my life. . and it was . .
