this has been on my mind for quite some time now. . so . .it's time to vent a little.
does anyone else find it annoying that all the threads and posts on sg are dominated by like 10 people?
and that when anybody that doesn't usually post has something to say that 'they' don't like, 'they' all gang up on them like peolple fondling courtney love when she crowd surfs. ( i've seen it happen)
now, i'm not exactly proud of some of my comments or posts i've made, because i've had a difficult time understanding the boundaries of etiquette (?) of what you can say to someone that 's naked on the internet.
( but that's my problem, and basically i just don't comment to any sg's anymore)
but one time i commented about something on a thread and basically got a reply stating . . 'suicide girl's is 'not' a forum for free expression' . .but it does seem to be a forum for 'certain' people to say what they want , but not others . . so. .
now i rarely reply to any threads either, unless it's completely obvious i wouldn't offend the heirarchy.
okay! i got that off my chest !
all the same, i figure this is money well spent. . i've inadvertantly met some really cool people and i do like to keep a journal.
and of course i still check out the naked girlies!
i'd also like to add , that i do look forward to reading everyone's journal that i keep in contact with , and it's a big part of my day. you all make me smile every evening and i try to respond with an inquisitive heart into what you're 'really' saying.
*did that make any sense?
until next time!

"Inquisitive heart." That's so cute.
It is the same in any social situation....there is always a gang mentality. But remember, while you are more then free to express your opinion, people are more then free to disagree with you.
The best analogy I can use involves that whole Dixie Chicks fiasco. After that happened I had a bunch of more conservative friends that wanted the CDs burned and found that girls statement inappropriate. I disagreed with them. I also had more liberal friends that found it hypocritical that people that claim to be patriotic would deny this girl the right to voice her opinion when this country's consitution has provided us the first amendment right to free speech. I also kinda disagree with that. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion, as long as you understand that people may disagree and voice their dissent loudly. And sometimes the people that disagree might out number you and/or over power you. It doesn't necessarily mean they are denying your right to free speech.
Does that make any kind of sense?
