Labor Day weekend recap:

Friday night I went to this place called The Fox and Hound for the first, and most likely last time. I wasnt very impressed by the place. The beer selection was good; they had a lot of excellent imports, but not so many microbrews. The menu was just alright, nothing too original or exciting, but thats to be expected from a corporate restaurant. Everything was a bit over priced and the atmosphere was unexciting. Plus the waiter was rude. When he carded us, a friend of mines ID was cracked in half (due to scraping ice from his windshield one winter). The waiter was being a real jerk at first and wasnt going to let him get a beer because he said there is a new law where you cant serve anyone alcohol if the ID looked tampered with. He sat there for a good minute closely examining the ID looking for some proof of forgery.
If I was a good writer Id love to be a food critic because I enjoy critiquing restaurants I go to. But Ill throw that occupation in the bag of ones that will never happen.

Saturday was boring. I lounged around for the afternoon then hit up Wings and Stubbies for a few beers then went home and to bed early.

Sunday I spent the day with a few friends. We made these yummy little gourmet pizzas, drank quite a bit of wine, and watched Rome and Entourage.

Monday I got up early and went to the store and bought stuff to make french toast. After cooking I lounged around till about three then went out and had Mexican food with my sister. We ended going to Jackass Flats after eating and enjoyed a couple free beers curtsey of a drunken older man that we happened to sit next too. Unfortunately he was rather annoying to talk to and wouldnt leave us alone. And he called me a wiener head for some reason. The evening got a little weird after that. My sister and I went over to her next door neighbors place and we sat outside with her and her boyfriend and drank some wine. At one point in the evening Jenny and Tammy were inside and I was outside alone with Tammy boyfriend, Chris. Next thing I know Chris is going on and on about how much of a crush he has had on me and was saying all this shit about how he is going to move out of Tammys place and how he wanted me to take his phone number. I was appalled. First off, he has a fucking girlfriend that he lives with, and second off he is 38 years old. Every time his girlfriend would go inside he would start flirting with me and even asked me if I would give him a kiss even though I made it clear as day that I had absolutely no interest in him. I should have told his girlfriend, but I didnt want to start any drama, plus I dont know her all that well, so I just kept it to myself. Ugh, I get sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Im never ever going over there again!!!

And now its back to work. At least its already Tuesday. Tonight I think Im just going to take a long bath, rent a movie and relax. NO drinking today!
