So I've been trying my best to think positively about the current work situation.
There has been lots of closed door conversations around here today.
The bosses wife and co-owner has decided she will step down at the company and leave him in charge of everything. I've been told I will be taking over a majority of her work and what I cannot get done will be passed down to the receptionist. Our work loads are already pretty full, as she had previously passed on some of her work to us so she wouldn't have to come in as often. I'm pretty optimistic about this situation and I think it will be better for everyone because when she is here in the office, all they do is scream and fight over work related things. This is something I felt should have been done long ago, but I always knew she didn't want to give up control, which she finally admitted today. It's a pride thing.
Of course, I'll be getting a promotion and a BIG raise out of all this. That's always nice.
Yea for a bigger paycheck. Boo for more responsibility.
Btw I cancelled my SG account today. I'm not sure when it will go into effect. I'm not interested in it enough to pay for another year. I'd rather put that money towardsnew shoesor something.

I finished an in-store POS display for that client and they really liked it so they want me to put together their regional sales marketing presentation now, and a bunch of 3 on 3 tournament collateral... I'm just stoked cuz I can charge big money and do the creative how I want... I don't normally get to do that.
