I went to the Ohio Renaissance Festival yesterday for the first time ever. I was under the impression that it was going to be pretty neat, but I was surprised and amazed at how enormous and fun the place turned out to be. It was awesome! It was also pretty chilly and cloudy outside yesterday, which was splendid because I got to wear one of my comfy cashmere sweaters and a scarf for the first time since early spring.

I meant to take a lot of pictures, but I kind of forgot to once I was there.

I made some hot rum and cider a few times over the weekend (two fifths worth actually-but it wasnt just me drinking it). I do believe that rum and cider, and pumpkin ales are the ultimate fall drinks
