I went to carve a pumpkin the other night. I looked great. Nice thick stem, firm outer skin........i was excited. I cut off the top.......everything looked good. I reached in to pull out the guts and OOOOOHHHH the horror!! It was mushy. Not all of it, but there was oooooozzze. Not that bad, i'll just take care of it.........that was a good idea, until i caught a wiff of the offending ooze. It smelled like rotting puss and dirty scabs. Seriously, it smelled like someone's finger had rotted inside of it. I gagged.
