it is a month exactly till i leave good old Aotearoa and it is filled with apprehension.

at the same time though all adventures should be so (as i've been told)

anyways, as promised, a full run down of the Blood Brothers gig lat night. fukkin awesome.
missed This Night Creeps which i was a bit gutted about cos apparently they're amazing live - their album is fantastic.

but then The Mint Chicks came on and fukk they be tight. been following this band for a coupla years now and they just get beta and beta. and the perfect band to open for the Bloods

ahhh the Blood Brothers. i don't really know what i was expecting but it certainly made for an entertaining evening.
how would i describe them my editor asked me - performance post punk with a little bit of emo added to the mix. good. very very good.

and i even behaved myself and was in bed by 12.30 so didn't have to suffer the wrath of my liver this morning.
