I have a friend who hit heartbreak when he met the perfect girl - completely perfect in terms of tastes, intelligence, humour, heart, intelligence, everything except her weight. He couldn't get past the fact she was fat. Or at least, he said she was fat. I saw a picture, and besides being full figured and fabulous, she was damned gorgeous.

And that is why my silly American friend doesn't deserve to find deep lasting love.

Makes me wish I lived across the pond sometimes!
