people talk about beauty a lot on here, and everywhere else obviously. but there seems to be very little mention of what i consider beauty to be.

ok, you can have a pretty face, amazing eyes, a fantastic body and all that business - but that alone doesnt make you beautiful. and yes, in case people pull me up on it, i have called people beautiful just from seeing pictures.

but true beauty cant be measured from a picture, or just from seeing someone.

you can be the prettiest, sexiest thing on the planet, but if you're a bitch, you'll never be beautiful.

true beauty is the person behind the face, inside the body. love at first sight doesnt exist - it cant. thats just lust. you fall in love with the person, not the face or body. and thats what true beauty is.

the most beautiful person i have ever known would be considered by some people to be not beautiful at all. some people wouldnt even consider her to be pretty (in fact people have told me this - maybe to try to make me feel better, but it didnt). and when people do try to tell me shes not beautiful, i tell them 'how would you know, you dont know her'.

i dont know her anymore. but i still know how beautiful she is. and if she ever needs me to remind her, despite everything shes done, she knows that i'll be there for her. because she will always be beautiful.

so if you're one of these people who looks in the mirror and thinks 'i wish i was beautiful' - you're looking in the wrong place
