Hello awesome hellraisers of sg land. How is everyone? I had a good night last night. i went out clubbing and talked to more random people. Doing stuff like this is really helping me to come out of my shell. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Me and a few friends want to make some crazy videos that we can put on youtube and whatnot. Do an instructional video for where one of you works but make it really weird and, dry humor with a straight face. I had a bunch of plans to do this for my job but I lack camera and assistance, so I fail. But you! You can succeed where I have failed Hooey! Or if you have a female friend in your group, do some epic fail pickup line and dating advice.

The academic job market is terrible and will be terrible for the foreseeable future. I work 3 jobs and make less money than most people who work 1. I love teaching but am starting to hate research and writing. I'm not qualified for any job outside of academia. Not a good situation.
