So I've been without a car for about three weeks now and its killing me, for all of you who don't know I had to sell my camper and my escort to keep my house, as you all know I bought this place and let my mother move in. the thing was she has been completely unable to find a job for the last ten months, no matter how hard she tried she just kept getting passed over for someone younger, so my savings slowly got eaten away what with being a full time student and trying to pay for a house and all,
anyways long story short a few days after everything was sold my mother gets offered a job (typical) so I've had all this money in the bank and no car, I thought well I had to sell my beloved camper so ill treat myself, what I thought was that I'd buy myself a nice diesel estate and started looking at some BMW's, I've always wanted a BMW, anyways things were all set for me to buy a 1998 BMW 525 turbo diesel estate (which amazingly is more economical to run each month then my escort was and only 20 a year more to insure fully comp! god I love living here there just isn't much car crime

anyways the thing that was kind of making me slow down a little was that all I could find was really high millage cars right at the top of my budget, so this morning I was talking to my mechanic Simon and he suggested a couple of jap alternatives, they weren't estates but it got me thinking, so I walked back home and spent the morning reading reviews and looking at the cars that he had suggested online and I found this .....
Yes its official I am now a full blow Cornish red neck as I own a fucking pickup truck lol
and what's cool is that it's got Surf written along the side
ok so it's not a BMW but it has all the same toys as the BMW coupled with Toyotas legendary build quality and reliability and its only got 65k on the clock, it costs the same to insure and almost gives me the same fuel economy, and what's more I talked the guy down by 300 and got him to throw in a full service and a full tank of diesel and still managed to keep half of my budget! I pic up my new truck on Thursday, today was a good day it's just a pity I'm now board shitless watching the rain
