Update...update.....update.
I'm actually going to make a "real" journal entry.
What's been up with me.....
I've finally made the step and applied for nursing school. I won't be able to start till Jan, but at least the ball is rolling. I can't wait to be back in school. Having this time off has been great, but I'm ready to be a productive member of society. If I could start today.......I would. I've also been searching for financial aid (grants and such).
Life is good.
My roommate has moved out. She was only here for the summer and has gone back to MD. If I didn't have to get another roommate......I wouldn't. She put me through some pretty shitty stuff and I'm not ready to go through that again anytime soon. So my options are this........trade a great place that I love for something smaller and further away from the beach, or take a gamble on another roommate that will most likely drive me crazy.
I'm going on my first date in 8 months on Sat night.
. I'm actually very nervous. I don't know how these things work. The cool thing is that the "guy" is just as nevous and excited as I am.
If you haven't seen it.......Donnie Darko. It's a bit creepy, but really good.
