Nothing like a trip to the good old D

I even was a good little girl and went online this morning to find out what documents I needed to have a short successful trip. Upon arriving, things seemed to be going well, very few people, short lines, and friendly front desk help........boy was I wrong.
What it comes down to is that in order for me to get a drivers license I need a official state marriage certificate from the state I was married in. The one that the minister gave us fucking 5 years ago isn't good enough. Ever other institution has accepted it to include.......the military, passport office, and various other places.
The worst part is that I've been DIVORCED for quite awhile now, so I have to request a marriage certificate for a marriage that NO longer exists.
How is it possible that freaking illegal immigrants can get a drivers license, but I can't. I've got a perfect driving record, not even one speeding ticket. Oh, I'm so mad.
