Ok, so, i am so glad to be back from the hell of Erie, PA. Let me tell you! I LOVE my great grandmother. SHe's a riot. However, i think my Great Aunt's sole purpose in life right now is to make everyone miserable, because she's miserable. And that really isn't appropriate when your 87 year old mother is not healthy and she thinks she's dieing, ya know?
ANyways, i'm home for a couple weeks. I got a party to go to tonight, a preggo friend to take care of, a friend coming in from out of town for a week soon, the Mid-Ohio races (Super bikes!) to go to, my car to get fixed again (Master cylinder. doh!).
Omg, so much to do, so little time!
Did i mention, i feel FABULOUS? Hurrah, go me. I got news on where i'm living on campus next year, and it's practically the spot i asked for. Go me.
1 year to graduation.
1 year to my 50k+ job.
1 year to a new kind of freedom.
My only worry is I won't know what to spend my money on. Obviously I'll need a place to live and food and stupid expenses like that. But, I'm single without children, I can live in a closet in any part of town. I've got about 15-20k in student loans, and those will have to go pretty fast.
So, my goal is to get my student loans completely paid off 1 year out of college, and be completely out of debt. Following that, I want to buy a house. Probably pick a 50k tag price house to get it paid off quickly (

Congrats on the housing! I used to work for the housing dept. at my university, but I didn't control where people lived.
