Today was busy. Rochester has a great public market that gathers on saturday mornings. It draws in local farmers, miscellanious merchandise, food wholesalers, and general miscellanious. Mostly, it's food and flowers.
It was good. I got Karen (the preggo girl) some food as well as myself of course. I go with my family and it's always chaos. People of every shape, size, color, economic background go there. You can hear a dozen languages being spoken within 20 feet. If you get a chance to go, stop at Scott's and get a hamburger with everything. (meat sauce and onions). it's great. It's not as good as it used to be, but still good!
I took Karen some food. I found out that she'd jumped through a few hoops and decided she wanted to take me up on the offer to take her to her first Lamaz Lesson (sp?). Last night her 'best friend' called her up and said she wouldn't be able to make it. Naturally, i offered to take her, but she'd turned me down. Flat. She didn't do the "oh, i dunno..." It was "NO." So, i didn't think twice last night and went to the market today.
*pouts* Oh well, Karen got herself there. That was cool. And she got back and was napping. I woke her up when i brought her over the fruits. *pout*. but, i took her out to get her cell phone recharged and for ice cream.
She makes me a little sad though. She's still waiting for her ex-boyfriend, Ulysses, to come back to her. He's been 'gone' for more than 7 months, but he still calls once in a while. Usually at weird times, like 6 am. And he's never treated her well, but good grief, she is still fixated on him! You know, she gets that glassy eyed look when she talks about the blunts they've smoked and the times the cops came by looking for him... Talk about setting yourself up to be hurt, over and over and over again.
Next week i'm going to erie to take care of things. after that (uhh, how long, i can't recall), i'm going to central Ohio for the motorcycle races. it's called "Me and dad" time. We've been doing it for a couple of years.
Hey, i need an opinion poll. Should I do an SG boy set? this is my photobucket account. If you didn't know, those pictures under "the photographer" are me. they all suck, but then, so do i! LOL

Well, my night went from ok to craptacular. I was going to innocently play a videogame on my computer this evening. Thus, i began booting, and once it was loaded, I saw that it auto-downloaded a program. My worst fears were confirmed, again. I'd gotten a parasite (spyware) on my computer.
After being pissed off, i downloaded SpyHunter (a free program that allows me to see the spyware on my computer) and ran it.
Then nearly shat myself. I didn't have one distinct parasite. I had FOUR! Holy fuck. I had eZula, Gator, SaveNow and WildTangent. Good grief. What did I do? I've spent the last 2 hours cleaning my computer and I've only gotten through the very most preliminary steps.

So far, I can't really figure out where they came from. I am pretty sure WildTangent came bundled with my AIM.
If you're at all worried about these, I'd recommend getting SpyHunter (it's free) and running it. Doesn't take very long. After it's done, go through and kill those files that are marked spyware. Also, read the names of the spyware programs and look them up online to see if there are any extra instructions involved. (like with eZula, which is a real trojan/parasite).
Your virus scanners will NOT detect these programs because they are 'technically' not illegal. They do many things that compramise your privacy and system performance. Do not tolerate this kind of bullshit!

I hear ya on the spyware crap. Been battling that myself lately, but since the mind wipe on the puter it's been much better.
