-have i told you guys that i really hate being in a cover band? normally, i play every show retardedly drunk. why, you ask? because i can't stomach playing these fucking songs when i'm sober. at least when i'm drunk it's almost fun. we played last night and i didn't drink...i wanted to stab myself in the eyeball with a pen. we know somewhere in the vicinity of 90 songs and i swear to god i hate almost every one of them. and we never seem to put the few that i actually like into the setlist. well, last night we played a few good ones. some old metallica, some black sabbath, and a pretty heavy version of simple minds' "don't you forget about me". but the rest of it is pure crap. if i didn't need the money so much, i would never even consider doing this.
-we have another show tonight. looks like i'll be getting ridiculously drunk.
