it's been my best friend sometimes. it's always been there for me. comforting me. making all the bad things seem so unimportant. it helps me forget about the girl i was engaged to until recently. it's always made me happy.
last night my good friend alcohol turned on me. it stabbed me in the back. my friends won't talk to me. the beautiful girl i was talking to has told me that she never wants me to call her again. and my car is wrecked.
the irony here? i don't remember any of it. i don't know what i hit with my car. i don't know what i did to my friends. i don't know why that girl hates me. in reality, i shouldn't be mad at alcohol. it did its job. it made me forget.

i now remember that i hit a guardrail on the highway.
