-first off i'd like to thank mike mussina for the strong effort, roger clemens for not completely falling to pieces, david wells for making a go at it, heredia for doing his job...same with jeff nelson, a stellar performance by mariano rivera with 3 innings of beautiful pitching. who else? hmmm....oh yeah....grady little for leaving pedro in when his pitch count was about 120, and tim wakefield for leaving that last knuckleball too high in the zone. oh, and of course aaron boone.
-great game though, huh? it's all about the heart, baby.
p.s. - i'd like a written apology from those of you who have shit talked the yankees over the past week. you know who you are!
