I just learned a lot about me last night. My best girl friend was over and we were watching Girls Just Want To Have Fun. A favorite of mine since it came out in 1984, and her first time watching it. My love of movies with music and dancing stems from that movie. I love movies with music and dancing...a lot. And now I know why. Well after that we had to watch Dirty Dancing. Which is basically the R rated version of GJWTHF. And now I know where my love of cocky, arrogant guys, from the wrong side of the tracks (or just plain white trash), with great arms, and a secret heart of gold comes from. I've been searching for my very own Johnny Castle all these years!! Except for the secret heart of gold, I tend to find them. Unfortuantely, the secret heart of gold is what makes the package complete. Ah well, I guess I'll just have to go home and watch more movies with music and dancing until I do find my very own Johnny Castle (sigh)
