I like that Thom, my fiance, gets along with my family. I really do. I just find it to be a little stinky that while I'm working the day away, he's hanging with the folks and granny, playing cards and eating barbeque! And, to top it off, he's going to my cousins' next month for more food and cards while I have to work again. I'm changing my day off from Saturdays to Sundays, just so I don't keep missing all the fun.
On another note, Fridays was my very best friend's 25th birthday. So he met me after work yesterday and we went for drinks at this place called Sapphire. Thom met us too. It was neat hanging out with my two best guys and watching them get along and bond. Especially since they're really nothing alike. It was a moment for me.
