so i saw spiderman 2 with my future husband last night. there were certian things about it that i didn't love. but overall i enjoyed it quite a bit. my favorite scene in the whole movie, was when the tentacles come alive in the operation room. the reason why i liked it so much was because it felt like i was actually watching a scene from the evil dead. the way sam raimi directed that scene, felt so much like the way he did the evil deads, that it could have been a scene from evil dead 4 or something. it's great to know that even though he's a big summer blockbuster director, he still uses the same cheesy effects that he did when he first started out. and i love that bruce campbell is in it again as as a completely different minor, yet important character. or, at least, i found his character to be important in this spidey and the last. i wouldn't even mind watching it again at the show.
