so i am leaving for vegas again this coming sunday. i'll be there until thursday. it's for a conference for work, but there will definently be plenty of time for me to get into trouble while i'm there. the best thing about the trip is that i have some family friends who have just signed a 6 month lease on an apartment out there, and won't be ready to move in for another 3 weeks. so they're letting me stay there for the conference. no hotel with creepy elevators and smoke filled hallways for me. and, as an extra bonus, my fabulous boss is still going to give me the money he would have given me for the hotel to now spend on gambling, booze, strippers and drugs. oops, i meant to say food and gas. i'm so excited about the whole thing. the only potential bummer is the heat. but it can't be avoided. i guess i'll just have to spend a lot of my free time by the pool drinking beer. ahh, isn't great when every now and again things just seem to come together beautifully
