Are flags STILL as half-mast over Reagan? I was hoping to be rid of the guy once he passed, but he's managing to bother me even more from beyond the grave. Not only were post offices closed on Friday just to piss me off and cause me trouble, but the fucking VA hospital decided to close too (despite the fact that I had an appointment with them). Reagan is dead, so I guess living veterans aren't entitled to the medical attention they need. That makes a lot of fucking sense.

You know, some flags are still half assed.. i mean mast about Regan, and some arent. I think there is some tradition about the flags flying half for a certain period of time. Btw, did ANYONE notice that it was 10 years ago this May/June that NIXON died? I was in DC when the flags were half mast all around the Washington Monument. It was neat... in a creepy morbid sort of way...

Although I'm sorry for Reagan's illness and the effect on his family... tragic and sad. But he sucked as a governor; and as President? Can you say "Iran-Contra"? Winning the Cold War? Give me a fucking break!
