After 5 long days of being without my wife, it's good to have that sweet sweet wonderful woman back in my arms again. I am a lucky man.
It's funny - I normally don't do too well mentally when alone, so I've tried to surround myself with people the whole time. I had friends over everyday, even threw a little party, kept a steady supply of my special brews flowing... but you really can't escape the longing you have for a missed lover.
It's just goes to show that the old saying is true:
"Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder."
