just watched lost in translation..
not sure if i was really bored with it..
scarlett is adorable and bill is funny but besides the great music in it I found the whole movie pretty boring.. like a nice photo album that has way to many pictures in it.

SPOILERS, all ye who haven't seen LOST IN TRANSLATION ... okay, with that out the way... I can see how you might feel that way. I liked the movie, but then I didn't think it was perfect. The pacing wasn't always on. Like, the whole thing where Bill sleeps with the horrid singer-woman (a huge, huge mistake in the script, imho; characters in romances have mistaken affairs sometimes, true, but usually not with so horridly obnoxious a woman), and then all the sudden Scarlett and Bill are at lunch arguing about it, and then it flashes right along to the next bit... one feels a little bit like scenes of explanation ( like, say, why Scarlett would wanna have lunch with Bill after that) are missing at this point in the movie.
