I told you I'm not interested in going. It's not my idea of a good time to begin with, so why go for my birthday? I may just grab a friend and go to the lake (or to the beach if I can wake up early enough).
There will be a very large party, however, here at my house on Saturday night. Yes, I know....it's the day before my birthday.....let's just say midnight will be the Hour of Power.
You're invited and you can bring friends (but if you guys are planning to drink a lot, I hope you're kind enough to bring more liquor/beer). It begins at 8, and it's a wiener and marshmallow roast. We'll have a pool and some slip & slides, so bring something to swim in, a towel and be sure to keep your clothes dry or bring extra. Some people might be dressing up, so don't be shy to do that either, if that's what you're into. The unofficial name of this party is Crack-o-ween. It's like Halloween in June.

I wanted to be a horse vet when I grew up. I used to ride horses from ages 5-14. I lived,ate and breathed those animals. I miss them but I found out the other day that a friend in AA works on a horse farm not far from where I live and he has invited a bunch of us to come visit the farm and ride too. So I'm excited about that...I remember growing up, in the midst of all the turmoil in my life the only time that I ever felt truly free was when I was riding. It's such an incredible experience and I miss it.
