I got a M.I.A. and a Xiu Xiu CD in the mail from Shoegal the other day! Shoegal rocks my socks hehe.
On Friday night my friend and I went to a show downtown. We drank lots and lots of Red Stripe there. I was drinking that stuff even before their hilarious ass commercials came out. "Red Stripe and Reggae. Helping our white brothers dance for over 75 years. Red Stripe. It's Beer. Hooray Beer!"
I think I only talk with my roommate on an average of 3 minutes a day. We just talk about the necessary things like "Who's turn is it to take out the trash?" and "Has the mail came in today?". In 5 months we've lived together we're hanged out together just twice. Strange.
Yesterday my Dad told me that during college he read Mein Kampf from front to back, which I find pretty disturbing
. To be fair though he also read all of The Communist Manifesto. But then again I think every college student from the 60's has read The Communist Manifesto haha.
I just finished watching the SG DVD and it was awesome!
I think my two favorite parts were Nixon's story of sending someone to the emercency room and Stormy doing topless cartlwheels in the middle of a road with cars passing by. It's sad that Sicily is gone now though.
