R.I.P. Hunter S. Thompson
His two books Fear and Loathing and The Rum Diaries are some of my favorites. Contrary to popular belief his books weren't just about crazy drug hallucinations. They really had insightful social commentary in them. First Dimebag, one of my favorite guitarist dies and now my favorite author dies as well. All my heroes really are fading away.

Anyways all my mid-term tests are this week and next week is spring break, yeah! I'm just going home to Palm Beach County for it. It's funny how everyone makes a big deal about going to South Florida for spring break but I get to go to South Florida every year haha. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is going to church with my parents while down there.

Who's your favorite author and why? I bet at least half will say Palahniuk hehe. Thompson was my favorite because not only were his books hilarious and extremly vivid but they also made you look at society in a different way as well.

Alright I'm going to be busy with studying all this week but on thursday when I'm done with my tests I'll get back to everyone for sure.
