Yeah I'm getting really frustrated with trying to find a band here in gainesville. Some examples...
1. This one band that asked me to audition for them has no songs samples on their website yet they are already selling band jackets and t-shirts. They list their instruments as
Alex- Co-Owner / Drums / Graphic design
David- Co-Owner / Guitars / Graphic design
2. In my post I put that the only four genres that I don't like are emo/screamo, pop punk, nu-metal and jam bands. Then this one band who asked me to audition listed their genre as "hardcore/emo" on their website.
3. This other band that contacted was just plain horrible. The singer sounded exactly like the Creed guy. I don't even think Scott Stapp could tell the difference between this guy's voice and his own voice.
I think I'm just going to make a clone of myself and make him play guitar, buy a drum machine and kidnap Karen O. Hell, I think I'm going to kidnap Karen O anyways.
Ok that sounded really creepy, I take that back.
