Since when did bashing organized religion become so cool for young people? Why can't people just respect other people's beliefs and not ridicule it just because it is different from their own view? Any view you have on God is going to seem ridiculious and unreasonable to a lot of other people.

I think it's just the few bad apples who give organized religion a bad name, such as those child raping priests, the extremists who hold signs and yell nonsense at Turlington and groups in the past who have started wars "in the name of God". But most people who truely believe in their religion are good people.

It goes the other way too though. In church I've heard pastors state how they think that there being a big bang in the universe and all the complexities of nature was created by chance is ridiculious. And how humans evolving from dumb apes is stupid as well. But then again a man raising from the dead after three days and performing miracles seems sorta sketchy too don't you think?

There's a lot of scientific evidence that goes for and against god. But there is by no means proof for anything. Like I said before, any view you have on God is going to sound crazy as hell. But for some reason a lot of people like that the christian view on God is completly fucked up.
