Last week my school won the National Championship in basketball. The celebration afterwards was insane. They had to stop traffic on one of the main streets and people were crowded shoulder to shoulder. A bunch of kids were hanging from the stoplights and this one kid got on the very top and started waving a 10 foot pole with a Gator flag on it. Fireworks were being shot off and of course people were running around in their underwear hehe. Good times.
Last Tuesday was celebrity day for me. In the morning while going to the bathroom I recognized the person standing in the next urinal as one of the basketball players. I was going to say something to him but he was busy taking a piss haha. And then in the afternoon another basketball player so happened to came into my psychology survey lab. This time though I got to congratulate him.
At 8pm that night was the Margaret Cho show and she was pretty funny. Yesterday I met a black gay Republican. I didnt even know they existed. I thought they were like leprechauns or something.
. Later that night I saw High on Fire and they were really good. Gaineville is such an indie/emo town so its nice to see a metal show every now and then.
I saw Wild at Heart the other night and its now one my top 10 favorite movies ever. David Lynch is great although I think Mulholland Drive is a little overrated. I also saw the Bill Hicks DVD and hes now one of my favorite comedians. I know now where the samples in Tools Third Eye comes from.
Tonight Im supposed to go to a pot luck party. Hopefully it will be fun.
