On Thursday there was a viewing and a Masonic service for my grandfather. His Mason brothers prayed over him and put Mason memorabilia in his coffin. He was in the army for over 20 years so they had a military funeral for him on Friday. They draped the American Flag over his coffin, shot off the rifles and played "Taps" on the bugle.

He has visited Disney World over 100 times before so we put a Mickey Mouse stuff animal in his coffin too hehe. Although the weekend was sad it was nice to spend time with some relatives I hadn't seen in forever.

On Saturday my sister drove me up to Orlando since she lives there. I got to see my friend's band play that night so that was fun. And then on Sunday my sister drove me back up to Gainesville.

I'm in the middle of reading Angels and Demons, the prequel to the Da Vinci Code. I refused to read it at first because everyone else in the world has read it already but it was a Christmas gift from my sister. I can't wait for the Da Vinci movie to come out.

I saw Hostel last night and it wasn't that great at all. I had my eyes open the whole time haha. It was such a trashy movie with excessive amounts of T&A and drugs and loads of unnecessary gore. I thought The Devil's Rejects was a lot better.
