My Grandmother seems to be doing fair after having her feeding tube installed.. I mean, I guess there is no change really for the better or worse.. My mom says that she did mention My Step Grandfather just the other day..(he past away a couple of weeks ago) My Grandma will say.. "He's such a good Daddy", "He's a good Daddy". Although she doesnt show much emotion.. My Grandmother did start to cry the other day.. as my mother sang while she worked.. My moms not really sure why.. she just said that my Grandmother wept just a little bit.

I know this has been so hard on my Mother.. she has been all alone in this, taking care of my Grandmother and Step Grandfather, because I am so far away.. She asked me to come out to Oklahoma to help her fill out some insurance paper work..but (I could not leave town) so I called up one of my Aunts (My Dads sister) and told her that my Mom needed her help. She in turn called another one of my Aunts.. and in less then 18 hours later.. She and her husband (who works in insurance) were there to fill all of the paper work out.. It's all done..It's crazy how life is.. Family.. even what you would call ex-in laws that are willing to step in from out of the blue.. 30 years later to lend support when someone needs it.. well, honestly,... I have to say it leaves me with a feeling of hope. That's hard for me to say.
