I don't want to get my hopes up...but I'm pretty sure that I haven't had a nightmare in two whole days!

We've started making some phone calls to certified mercedes body shops. They already have my resume...but so far no luck. None of the kids have had a lot of luck yet.

I'm talking to that place in Monterey but can't really see myself there.

I'm not too stressed about it anymore. I figure if at the end of seven weeks (when i'm out of school and my lease is up) I haven't found myself a job somewhere...no biggie. I'll extend my lease, keep working and saving money and wait for the right job to come along.

In the meantime, I met up with a guy who contacted me through Myspace last night. He's a desk jockey by day but at night he kinda interns at this custom bike shop near here.

He saw some of my pinstripes and not only is begging me to stripe his bike but also wants me to work at the shop. He said his boss has been talking about bringing in some guy to do pinstripes (since there are at least five guys asking for them)...but he insists that I'd be better...I mean, seriously, who would you rather see striping your bike? Me or some guy?

Yeah, I thought you'd say that...

So today we're going to the auto paint store to get supplies. I told him if he bought the stuff that I'd stripe his bike for free. Keep me motivated and get my name out there.

Also on the agenda for today is going to check out a minivan for sale. Hopefully...by this time tomorrow I'll be the proud owner of a '94 Plymouth Voyager.

But right now, I've got to hit the shower...cuz at some point I'll have to head to work and shake my money maker...gotta pay for the van somehow!!!
