HAPPY JULY EVERYBODY!!!
It's another fabulous Friday here in Houston...

No news on what's going to happen with my teacher (see journal from yesterday)...but today was a great day in school anyway...
Spent the first two hours taping up the car in the paint booth...
Here's a pic of my new partner Jimmy taping up our door jams...
That's the block I have to stand on so I can reach the roof when I paint...
But first we have to clean and sterilize the car...
Painting went pretty well...the welding lab is right next to this paint booth and I had the entire class standing outside the windows looking on...I'm such a fucking rock star!!!
I DID get a run on my driver's side door...
But hey, shit happens...plus someone rubbed up against it sometime in the ten minutes I left it unsupervised...
BUT...we fixed it right up and all in all she looks pretty good...in case you ever wondered what your car looks like before it gets all shiny...her 'tis!!!
Did I mention how ridiculously hot it is?
105 degrees outside...can you imagine how hot it is inside that booth with no breeze to be had?
Yeah...it's THAT fucking hot...I'm not nearly as miserable in that pic as I look...just hot and exhausted!
Now...I'm relaxing a bit before work...Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
