The heat index here in Houston has been over 100 degrees all week. Not to mention the humidity...
It's officially too hot to live.

This week has taken a long, long time to pass. And now that Friday is here...it feels like Wednesday...or something like that. Maybe I'm just tired?

Today while me and my team were outside washing our car down...since we've finished all the body work and the complete paint job...even though we had to back up a couple times to repair mishaps...
Mr. Glass, the instructor who's class we're supposed to be in except for the 'incident' which led us to repeat the class came out to check out our work.
What did he say about it?
He said that he's seen us working hard together. That many of the other students in our class haven't gotten NEARLY as far as we have...the work is good...that he's proud of us...and...that he misses us.
This coming from a man who is an award winning painter.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...while I'm not LOOKING for anyone's approval...that shit means a lot. Especially coming from him.

So here I am...sitting in here with the shades drawn, a/c on, in nothing but my bra and panties...
In seven weeks I will be graduating in the top ten of my class, supported by a host of instructors who have trained me to become the kind of body tech they can be proud of...
The kind of body tech that mercedes-benz wants on their team badly enough that they'll pay for my specialized training.
I can honestly say that I'm proud of myself. To apparently be pulling off this seemingly impossible thing. And be good at it.
