Oh food coma...why do you thwart me so?
The day off of work...a list of things (some rather important) to do...and me with a belly full of pasta salad...
I'm sure the overwhelming heat doesn't help either...
Another day of over 95 degrees...
And me, in my paint suit again...
If I had balls, I would have sweat them off by now!!!

Spent the first four hours of school trying to match the paint I'd mixed to the car we're working on. Didn't have much luck...realized something was wrong.
Remixed the paint and it matched. Clearly I'd screwed up mixing it the first time! I knew I'd over poured one of the tints by accident but had hoped I'd be able to get it to match.
Either way...I spent the last two hours of class being very upset because I'd been 'fired' for using the 1 1/2 inch tape for masking my car... Came back from the smoke break to find my partners pulling all the paper off...apparently they'd been told we have to do it over. All those hours of work...for nothing...
I felt a little better after finding that many of us were 'fired' for such things...
Here are some more pics of the other kids' tape jobs...
And just a reminder of what MY tape job looked like...
Just kidding...that's my partner Brad...clearly suffering from heat exhaustion! For MY tape job, see the previous entry.

I might not get around to my chores today...but hopefully THESE will cheer me up! New shoes for work!!!
