It actually hasn't been a bad week overall...despite this here little bump in the road.
They've changed the policies at work, which directly effects how much I take in...by a LOT. I did the math and it comes out to about $1,000 less per month, for the same amount of work!
So naturally I was really upset.
But I had a chat with my boss about it and she told me that she'd done this to try and chase off some of the girls who work there and that the policy will be lifted soon.
Now, I want these girls gone too, but I doubt that this will work. Unfortunately what it WILL do is chase off the good hard working girls. Me. But I'm really comfortable working there, I like my coworkers a lot, I like my schedule, and I like my money...so I REALLY don't want to leave.
I've decided to wait it out.

Friday I finished the second of five classes in paint. The re-take class.
I'm really happy I was able to take it twice. I'm an AWFUL lot more comfortable with the material than I would have been. Plus, I'm good at it and I did well.
The next class we move on to working on a complete car. Including body work. It's very intensive and we need to log a huge amount of hours to pass so there isn't any time to mess around.
We're trying to get the teacher to let us choose our own groups to work with, which would be me, army guy, and one of the kids from my original class (one who made the dents). I think we'd work well together...we've already had a meeting to discuss how we should dole out the work load...
We figured out our strong and weak points...
Army guy will shoot the sealer and clear coat...the other kid will do body repairs, and I'll do the taping, paint blending, and shoot the color.
I'm inspired by the way we're working together even before class has begun. I'm inspired by being able to have that talk with my boss, I'm inspired by the friendships developing between me and my coworkers, and by my being able to make my regular money despite the new policy.
But right now, I'm going to inspire myself to clean my house...
Yeah, right!
