GOOD NEWS:

I'm feeling much better about this whole situation. In fact, I'm not even angry any more.

I'm enjoying taking this class a second time. It's the second of five painting classes, so we do a lot of basic stuff. And honestly, I welcome the chance to get REAL good at the basic stuff, seeing as all things are built upon it.

My new instructor leaves me entirely to myself. I've parked myself in a prep-bay all the way in back where I spend my day sanding, priming, sanding, sanding, sanding, and happily singing to myself under the noise of all our power tools.

My old instructor CLEARLY is not happy with the class he's got now. He's no longer the happy-go-lucky, silly guy he was with them. In fact, he spends most of his time chatting with the kids who chose to retake that class (meaning: me and army guy). I know he knows that I was minimally involved and I think he respects my integrity, which means more than anything to me.

INSPIRATIONAL CALENDAR QUOTE OF THE DAY:
Actually it was from yesterday, but I liked it and thought it fit.

"Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one."

I live my life by my own moral standards. I lead by example. And nothing makes me more inspired than when I see how the way I live my life inspires others to do the same in their own lives.

Gratitude and integrity folks. Without it you've got nothing.

How's THIS for personal transformation!!!
