I feel as though I should mention that this month is my one year anniversary being a member of this here lovely SG site.
So it was about a year ago I saw a listing for an audition for girls who wanted to be in the SG magazine (that never happened) and I trecked my ass out to brooklyn, twice.
It's where I first laid eyes on Jaidee...and met my love Stormy in the subway on my way home...
Hence the adventure had begun...my deciding to move and my trying to raise money to fund it...
And my sorry ass stumbling across some HBO special about the suicide girls...
I was really waiting to see the segment that came after it about the swinger's parties I'd attend in NYC...but I caught the end of the SG segment and thought to myself...how awesomely cool...girls like me...there's a whole site for us...dedicated to us and the boys who love us...what a fabulous idea...
A week or two later is when I stumbled across that advert for the audition...
So it's been a year and I'm not an SG yet...but that's totally cool...
In the meantime I've met some really extraordinary people via this site...
People in NYC I might have met anyway...
People in NYC I HAD met and would never had thought would be a member or become a member...
People in NYC who I'd never had met otherwise...but have been blessed with their friendship...
People in all points of the country/world who have become so important to my daily life that I couldn't possibly imagine not talking to them or checking in on their journals...
People who's journals I've read for months and then finally met in person...never to be disappointed...
People who I've met in person and then become addicted to reading their journals...
The people I know in my life now...they ask about my SG stickers all the time...
I explain that it's a site...kinda like playboy...but for the rest of us...
But it's so much more than that.
The people here mean so much more than that.
Not that I don't love baring my ginormous naked bum for the world of SG to see...
I'm just saying...you and I are celebrating some kind of anniversary here...
And I just want y'all to know how much that means to me.

I'm working at Alloy Heaquarters...you know they do the Delias catalog. I'm in the ad dept. I like it...I like the money best though!
I don't have AIM at work, we're only allowed to have Yahoo IM.
