The weather here is beautiful again...
this time I care a little...
***
I've enjoyed my last week of class...
I'm sad to see it go.
That was the last class where I'll actually get good and greasy working on cars.
My next class is estimating/customer service.
After that we go into our last five classes...paint!!!
But I'll miss the grease in the meantime.

I sucked it up...and for the second time went over to student services and got some of those food vouchers. $10 Not much but every penny counts.
I also decided to stop by the employment office.
They told me that the Autozone people were on campus interviewing that day.
Now I gotta tell 'ya folks...I hate autozone.
They're good for cup holders and floormats but that's about it.
But I'm poor...so I filled out an application and waited for them.
After an hour...i was fed up, so the lady called another autozone store for their position as a driver.
Can't say I'd trust me tooling around on the highway with these crazy Houstonian drivers...
But...I'm poor...so I took my little shitbox out onto the feeder roads and drove for what seemed like forever, down into the ghetto...only to find that the dude wasn't there. He'd gone to lunch.
Y'know what? Fuck it. It seemed like an awful lot of footwork for a job I didn't even want.
So I headed home...but found a bar that is hiring on the way.
Stopped by there and gave them my info and shmoozed with the customers. The owner is in the process of trying to sell the bar...so he told me he couldn't hire me right then, but if he doesn't sell he'll give me a call.
I got sauced...and headed home.
***
Despite my extreme exhaustion...I called the Limey Bastard and he told me I could still come and waitress at his bar if I needed money.
When I got there...it was pretty dead. So I sat and had a drink instead.
Within minutes they put me behind the bar and I ended up working the rest of the night.
Some of my regulars from the old bar showed up which made my night.
I raked in $217...which for a really busy bar wouldn't be squat...but for a bar as dead as we were...says a lot about how the customers feel about me
I finally have some money for food (and some bills)!!!
It doesn't help me with my rent problem, but hopefully they'll have me back real soon

I guess seeing those pictures didn't really help the cause all that much, huh? You can take solace in one thing though, NYC misses you too.

Weekends suck at the old bar where Ms. Holliday used to work. The new lady bartenders are new and overwhelmed. And there is no chance they will ever flash their boobies. So boring.
