Oh blissfull day!
Yesterday during another fabulous Houston rainstorm I FINALLY located the origin of the mystery leak in my car!
For seven months now every time it's rained I've ended up with a big ol' wet spot on my driver's seat.
I'd get in...all pissed off...and desperately search in vain for where the water was coming from.
There'd be no water on the glass...no water on any of the seals...nothing. I could sit there for 30 mins during my lunch break in the pouring rain and NEVER find a fucking drop of water actually fall.
FINALLY...yesterday, I caught one of those elusive bastards!!! It fell right into my lap from somewhere between the windshield and the lip of my roof. Falling in such a way as to not touch a single other thing in the vehicle...leaving no trace of where it came from!
So today in class I got myself some urethane and sealed that mother fucker!!!
GO AHEAD AND RAIN NOW!! I DARE YOU!!!
*shakes fist at sky*

In preparation of shooting another set to submit I've bumped the rejected one back to the top in the sg hopefuls group in order to get some more feedback...feel free to leave me some love. (read: get yer ass over there the second you finish reading this!!!)
I also emailed Missy and asked about shooting a set with a 'car theme.' I know there have been a bunch done already and I'd hate to waste everyone's time by doing one that would get rejected based on it's redundant theme.
She responded to let me know that it would be fine so long as I had an original take on the idea.
I have two cars in mind...Mr. Cajun's '72 Nova and The Biker's '69 Chevy short bed truck.
Any thoughts? Preferences?
Edited to add:
Holy crap! I just realized!! I can use my OWN car!! duh!!!
