It's been an eventful but unproductive couple days...

I successfully ventured down the hill to a friendly gathering of fellow hot rod chicks for Thanksgiving...
Pulling up to the house...was the exact moment my magical flat black minivan decided to NOT be so trustworthy... Nope, the engine shut down, the oil light came on and she called it a day. I had to throw her into neutral and push her out of the street...and let me tell you...that van is NOT light!

Dinner was fun though. Lots of yummy dishes...and drinks, once I realized I wasn't going to get home that night.

Successfully got my not-so-magical van towed back home the whole 60 miles...thank goodness for the AAA hundred mile plan! Woot!

Sadly, no matter how much we tried, we couldn't get the van to start. She's still sitting out there in the yard with all the other cars that don't run.

It's a beautiful afternoon here in the desert...but I'll most likely opt to stay inside and get down to some pinstriping.
