The stars are cruising around in the universe...shifting and changing things...strange, very strange...

It's been a good long weekend though.

The DeSoto didn't get finished to bring to the Primer Nationals on Saturday, but these things happen. Especially with the old cars, I'm beginning to realize. We're close though...

So...Saturday we took the '50 Studebaker ramp truck instead and caravaned down the hill with a bunch of folks.

It was a beautiful day...sunny but breezy...so this little Irish biddy got herself all kinds of sun. The ultimate in California tan lines...the top of my feet sporting tan lines from my flip-flops...*sigh*

There were tons of beautiful cars to admire and lots of builders to talk to about them all. I met this one woman who build her own car from the bottom up...truly amazing work...truly an artist. I always love to meet chicks who build their own cars. They inspire me to keep doing what I'm doing.

I spent half the day trailing behind Moldy and networking with the people he knows (which is pretty much everyone) and picking up some side work from people I know. I spent the other half the day hanging with the girls and some of our friends which was nice after being hidden up here in the desert for so long.

Also got to chat with Gene Winfield about taking his metal working class this November. Between me being a cute little girl and my partners celebrity status we got ourselves quite a deal on the price which is awesome for a couple of poor rednecks like us!

Sunday we had a little bbq at the house and I got a chance to sit and get to know a couple of really fabulous people that I know in passing (and have heard enough about) but never would have had the opportunity to hang out with otherwise due to outside forces.

Not that the weekend didn't pass without a couple snags...car problems...some words that shouldn't have been said...but that's just how life goes.

Now we're into a new week...and closing in on a full moon (and a lunar eclipse!)...which I hope brings to fruition some of the things I'd put out into the universe on the new moon...

The universe works in mysterious ways though...so you never know how these things will pan out...here's to hoping! smile

I wonder if we all pooled our dreamer destinies what would happen?

It would be scary. But, my life story would just be starting then. How is Cali anyway? I've only been there once but I was in the desert the whole time.

and with a big kiss back to ya skull
